I have high hopes that over time, AI will be regulated and countered by tech companies and startups that still care about the society, if not by intergovernmental institutions.

Looking at how the society behaves recently, we have become more Earth-conscious. Although still far from saving the world, consumers are slowly considering certain things when choosing brands.

People are looking at company's carbon footprint, worker's welfare, sustainability, diversity and culture. Not at the scale that can be considered majority (yet) but it's noticeable how luxury brands have changed their marketing tone recently from just being flashy to making their social intention known in their ads.

When the pandemic hit, we started to have huge considerations on employment, social interaction, Science and determining misinformation. We're not perfect in that regard, but it's showing how are thinking process have evolved.
