I think the more AI touches a topic and the more writers use it for a specific topic, the more it learns about it.

So more likely, not a lot of people are using chatGPT for the topic you've chosen, and so it's probably on its early stages on that topic. It just does bullshit confidence really well.

I can confidently say that openGPT is very crappy with trends. I'm not sure how "real-time" its database is, but it may not catch up on a trend over night. So that's one thing to consider for writers— an avenue AI hasn't mastered yet.
