I know AI has been developed actively under our radar for years. With its applications on consumer use, it's become the forefront of every media outlet these days.

In the past few months, AI has been getting into every day users with chatGPT and mobile apps. The improvements since it first appeared in apps like Replika and AI Dungeon almost 2 years ago are massive.

The development has been so fast and rapid that we haven't prepared for the consequences.

I look forward to the future where AI becomes a key part of our day to day living. But my mind can't easily wrap around the idea on what the future will look like in the next 6 months to a year, with AI everywhere and we aren't fully equipped to balance the risks.
