There's this one thought from the book "The Science of Getting Rich" that I try to live by day after day:
You are to create, not to compete for what's already created.
I try to apply that on all aspects. When I deal with co-workers, I make sure I co-create with them. Oftentimes we feel competitive at work.
When designing, I make sure I focus on creating my best design.
When writing, I ask myself "What do I want to create?"
If you create something of great value, it adds to everybody's lives. You're not competing for the best most click-baity article. You don't compete for Google or search engines. You don't write to compete for popular topics.
You write to make a difference. So that 3-5 minutes later, you've turned someone to an entirely new person with just one thought, one wisdom.
Keep creating!
